    Our Department of Community Health Studies is dedicated to providing high-quality education, fostering research excellence, and empowering students with the skills they need to promote health and well-being at the community level.

    As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking dynamic, passionate, and qualified Community Health / Public Health Lecturers to join our team and play a pivotal role in training the next generation of health leaders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teaching & Curriculum Development: Design, deliver, and assess courses in Public Health, Community Health, Health Education, and related subjects.
    • Student Mentorship: Provide academic guidance, support, and mentorship to students, helping them achieve their full potential in both academic and practical settings.
    • Community Engagement: Develop community-based projects, collaborate with local health organizations, and help students gain hands-on experience.
    • Research & Innovation: Engage in high-quality research in public health, contribute to publications, and collaborate on projects that address pressing community health issues.
    • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, policies, and technologies in public health and share this knowledge with students and colleagues.

     Qualifications & Requirements:

    Lecturer Position:

    ·       Master’s Degree in Public Health, Community Health, Nursing, Environmental Health, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.

    ·       2-5 years of teaching experience in public health or community health.

    Assistant Lecturer Position:

    ·       Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Community Health, or related field.

    ·       0-2 years of teaching or relevant professional experience.

    • Experience: A minimum of 1 years teaching or working in the community/public health sector. Previous lecturing experience is highly desirable.
    • Expertise: Strong understanding of public & community health theories, health systems, epidemiology, health promotion, and community engagement strategies.
    • Passion for Education: A commitment to teaching and nurturing the next generation of health professionals.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver content in an engaging and accessible manner.
